About The Position

Penn State Human Resources is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, customer-focused individual who will develop, plan, and implement a wide variety of human resources activities across multiple human resource functions within the College of Engineering including recruitment, hiring and retention; employee and labor relations; equal opportunity; organizational development; talent management; total rewards and compensation; position management; and compliance monitoring. The position will counsel full-time and part-time employees, as well as management on policies and procedures; initiate and/or respond to inquiries such as performance concerns; analyze data and prepare reports; provide unit representation on various committees; and work with the Human Resources staff to implement new and/or continuing legal requirements or initiatives. The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of broad concepts, policies and procedures related to human resources.

  • 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

Responsibilities
