In this role, you will be a cornerstone our HR department – someone who takes pride in delivering an exceptional employee experience while keeping our people operations running smoothly.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant or HR Coordinator in a fast-paced work environment
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong record keeping and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platform
  • Some payroll processing experience
  • CHRP designation (or actively working towards it)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of employee contact for HR matters, such as benefits, on-boarding, time and attendance, and other employee inquiries.
  • Respond to employee queries with professionalism and care, turning routine HR interactions into positive experiences.
  • Enter and maintain employee records through the employee life cycle in the HRIS system (Workday) and the Benefit Administrator portal.
  • Audit HR systems regularly to ensure data integrity.
  • Generate employee-related paperwork (employment verification, transfers, notifications etc.).
  • Develop and maintain standard processes and/or checklists; streamline as needed to identify efficiencies.
  • Maintain records, personnel files and tracking systems; support report requests as required.
  • Assist with weekly hours balancing relating to payroll processing.
  • Support new hire documentation with the employee on-boarding process.
  • Provide day-to-day administration and contribute to broader HR initiatives.
