About The Position

MedPro Group is an industry-leading Berkshire Hathaway insurance company seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. This role involves developing strong relationships with business and team leaders to provide HR policy guidance, resolve employee concerns, and support managers with performance evaluations and corrective action plans. The position also manages special projects in workforce management and reporting, and handles administrative tasks related to onboarding and exit interviews. Additionally, the role includes full-cycle recruitment, collaborating with hiring managers to define staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, utilize applicant tracking systems, and manage the recruitment process from screening to offer extension. Assistance with corporate university relations and early career initiatives is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or related field or commensurate work experience.
  • 10 years of experience as an HR Generalist and/or HR Manager.
  • Proven ability to establish trust and confidence by maintaining a high level of credibility and skilled communication with all levels of staff.
  • Thorough knowledge of HR practices and procedures and state, local and federal employment law.
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Advanced understanding of HR systems to include HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Solid understanding of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Resourceful mindset and detail-oriented.
  • Proven ability to uphold the highest regard for confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior ADP HRIS and/or Cornerstone experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with business and team leaders to provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts and issues, while fostering a healthy work environment.
  • Guide and support managers in preparing annual performance evaluations and develop corrective action plans to ensure accurate documentation and follow up.
  • Manage special projects in workforce management, strategic planning, quarterly/monthly people data reports and other ad-hoc reports.
  • Prepare paperwork and schedules to ensure smooth onboarding processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional first-day new hire experience.
  • Handle administrative tasks associated with onboarding, orientation, and conduct exit interviews.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate position criteria, determine staffing needs and establish minimum qualifications and skills required for open positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies to advertise openings and identify qualified candidates.
  • Utilize applicant tracking system (ATS) to post, screen, market, track candidates and capture key metrics.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process to include pre-screening resumes, conduct phone screens, schedule virtual and in-person interviews, extend offers and prepare offer letters.
  • Manage search firm partnerships.
  • Assist as needed with MedPro's corporate university relations and early career initiatives.
