About The Position

The Human Resources Business Partner will be a key strategic partner for leadership and a valuable resource for team members within the Food Distribution Center in Sacramento, CA. This role involves supporting onboarding, performance management, and providing guidance to leaders and team members to ensure success. The HR Business Partner will positively impact how team members experience organizational change, utilize information, and collaborate with leaders to achieve business goals. Additionally, the role involves recruiting, retaining, developing, and optimizing the performance and engagement of individuals and teams. The position requires innovative problem-solving and the delivery of excellent HR services with quality and efficiency. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational strategy, or training and development.
  • Ability to leverage strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations at varying levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Strong reasoning, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict.
  • Basic knowledge in word processing, spreadsheets, computer systems (examples include Excel, Word, O365).
