About The Position

Naniq is seeking a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Hawaii-based operations and regional teams. This role partners closely with leaders to align people strategies with business goals, enhance employee engagement, and drive organizational performance in a dynamic, fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR execution, with strong experience in employee relations, leadership coaching, and compliance. About Us: Naniq is a third-party logistics company dedicated to providing the most innovative solutions for the Multinational Logistics Corporations (MLCs) we serve. We enable the MLC to deepen customer relationships by applying our expertise across many verticals (ocean, air, road, final mile, etc.). Through our vast network of contacts and partners, we offer a buffet of complex services that most MLCs are unable to easily offer on their own. Acting as the MLC, Naniq is able to capture incremental profit and deepen relationships with shippers – all to the benefit of the partnered MLC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience (HR Generalist, HRBP, or similar role)
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting operations, logistics, transportation, or industrial environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in trucking, supply chain, or Alaska-based logistics operations
  • Exposure to unionized environments
  • HR certification ( SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR )
  • Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed teams

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations and functional leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management
  • Act as a trusted advisor and coach to leaders at all levels
  • Lead and manage employee relations matters, including investigations and conflict resolution
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant HR practices
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safety-first workplace culture
  • Support performance management processes, including coaching and development planning
  • Partner on talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies
  • Drive succession planning and leadership development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Support policies and practices aligned with a transportation/logistics environment
  • Partner with leadership in union or non-union environments as applicable
  • Analyze HR metrics including turnover, retention, and engagement
  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve workforce outcomes
