About The Position

The Human Resources Business Associate (HRBA) is responsible for leading and managing all HR functions across all sites, while partnering closely with leadership to support business growth and operational objectives. This role serves as both a strategic and hands-on partner, ensuring compliance with employment laws, effective talent management, competitive compensation and benefits practices, and a positive employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Ideally in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws, including federal and state requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Strong understanding and experience with HR systems, HRIS platforms, and HR analytics required
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as medication documentation, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers or employees of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all Human Resources functions, ensuring alignment with company and Corporate HR strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders by providing guidance on employee relations matters.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the Human Resources Director as needed.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Develop, implement, and administer HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Design and implement training and development initiatives to support employee growth and regulatory compliance.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, incentives, bonus plans, and health and welfare benefits.
  • Partner with leadership on performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including insurance brokers, payroll providers, and legal counsel.
