As a member of the Human Resources team, the HRBP is a confident, capable HR Practitioner who is comfortable working with a high degree of independence and autonomy. The HRBP will model the organizations mission, vision, and values, consistently representing Covenant professionally and positively. They will collaborate effectively as a professional team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s Mission, Vision and Values. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HRBP is responsible for advising, coaching, and supporting management in human resources and related operations, including; employee and labour relations issues, interpretation of various employment/legal documentation, creation and delivery of training/development material, attendance management, return to work matters, including Duty to Accommodate and leadership training. The HRBP provides research and support for special projects undertaken by the Human Resources Department and participates in reviewing policy while establishing and fostering positive professional relationships and providing excellent customer service with both internal and external contacts.
