About The Position

Recruiter / Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) opportunity in downtown Wilmington. This full-time, on-site role (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across the organization, utilize a wide range of HR abilities, and work alongside a supportive team. The position involves leading the recruiting process, serving as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers, and playing a key role in supporting HR operations and ensuring compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong background in recruiting, employee relations, and leave management
  • Solid understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with ADP WorkforceNow and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruiting process and create an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, define job requirements, and attract top talent.
  • Manage recruitment efforts through the ADP Recruiting platform.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job postings and weekly open position reports.
  • Coordinate external recruiting efforts, including agencies and headhunter relationships.
  • Manage internship programs and participate in career fairs and networking events.
  • Oversee video interview coordination through SparkHire, including writing interview questions.
  • Support seamless onboarding for new hires within ADP.
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers while helping foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and fairness.
  • Manage leave administration, including FMLA and ADA.
  • Coordinate unemployment responses and represent the organization during hearings when needed.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate open enrollment and support compensation communication timelines.
  • Assist with audits and compliance reporting including ACA, 401(k), NDT, and EEO-1 reporting.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate HR analytics and reporting.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and HR process improvements.
  • Help maintain and update HR SharePoint resources and communications.
