About The Position

Rocket Youth is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner II to support leaders and employees across multiple business units and locations. This role functions as both a strategic advisor and a hands-on HR partner, supporting employee relations, engagement, compliance, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with solid employee relations experience who is comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-site environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site or multi-state organizations
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar HR certification
  • Experience in high-growth, multi-location, or acquisition-driven organizations
  • Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms
  • Background in service-based, education, youth programs, or multi-unit operations

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across multiple business units to support workforce and operational needs
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with managers and employees across locations
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Support initiatives that enhance culture, engagement, and retention
  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, and corrective action
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Support consistent application of company policies and HR practices
  • Promote a fair, positive, and compliant workplace environment
  • Support onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives
  • Assist with HR systems administration and enhancements, including UKG support
  • Provide troubleshooting and user support for HR technology platforms
  • Help improve HR workflows and operational efficiency
  • Support employee engagement surveys and feedback initiatives
  • Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve employee experience
  • Assist with workforce planning and organizational development efforts
  • Contribute to projects supporting growth, acquisitions, and scalability
