About The Position

Benchmark is seeking an energetic and compassionate HR professional to serve as an HR Business Partner for the Northern NJ & NYC Area. This role focuses on supporting HR functions, recruiting, employee engagement, training, and leadership development across multiple communities. The ideal candidate will enjoy being in the field, building relationships, solving problems, supporting managers, and creating positive employee experiences. This position involves partnering closely with operational leadership teams to enhance workplace culture and associate engagement.

Requirements

  • Multi-site, field-based HR experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Caring, professional, organized, and solutions-oriented
  • 3-5 years of experience in senior/regional HR roles
  • Comfortable supporting multiple locations and traveling regionally

Responsibilities

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts
  • Coach managers and assist with employee relations & compliance
  • Facilitate training and leadership development
  • Help improve workplace culture and associate engagement
  • Partner closely with operational leadership teams
