This is an onsite position, physically located within the hospital. The Human Resources Benefits Coordinator administers and manages employee benefits programs, including health insurance, flexible & health spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and other offerings. The role involves working with benefit plan providers and vendors, serving as a resource to employees for benefits-related questions, and assisting employees with self-enrollment using Oracle. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Benefits Administration module of Oracle, processing life events, benefit changes, and terminations, and troubleshooting errors. Additionally, the role coordinates specialized benefit programs such as ACA, COBRA, Service Awards, Arrearages, Tuition Reimbursement, and Leave Processing. Secondary duties include planning Benefits Fairs and Open Enrollment, coordinating retirement gifts and certificates of appreciation, assisting with HR promotional materials, and performing other related duties as directed by Human Resources leadership.
