About The Position

The Human Resources Assistant at State Farm Stadium works closely with the Sr. Manager, Human Resources & Payroll to provide administrative support for a variety of daily activities. Work includes but not limited to the processing of employee status changes, maintenance of employee data, responding to employee questions, and assisting managers within the various businesses with Human Resources policy and process questions.

Requirements

  • Requires solid understanding of Human Resources and Benefit administration.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS system.
  • Familiarity with COBRA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations is a must.
  • Clear written and verbal communications.
  • Good punctuation, spelling, grammar and attention to detail a must.
  • Good time management skills.

  • Able to maintain confidential information.
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university
  • 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience administering HR and benefit programs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal with internal and external people on all levels
  • Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA and related state and federal regulations required
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software.
  • Willingness to learn and use accounting/financial reporting software and ADP software.

Responsibilities

  • Follows Legends Global Human Resources policies to assure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions. Maintains compliance with state regulations concerning employment.
  • Maintains accurate and confidential employee personnel records, including personal information, employment history, compensation, status changes, and other required documentation.
  • Leads and supports recruitment activities, including developing and placing job reqs, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, conducting candidate assessments, and supporting the selection and hiring process for facility personnel.
  • Plans and conducts new employee orientations and onboarding programs; ensures new hires receive required policies, procedures, training, and facility-specific information.
  • Coordinates the credential application, verification, approval, distribution, activation, modification, and deactivation processes for major events.
  • Serves as first point of contact for all employee inquiries and properly directs concerns to appropriate parties to coordinate fast and effective resolutions. Communicates company policies, procedures to employees including the maintenance of all legal posting requirements.
  • Participates in the development and implementation of department goals, objectives, processes, systems, and initiatives that support facility operations and organizational priorities.
  • Investigates incidents accidents and prepares reports for insurance carriers.
  • Prepares EEO-1 annual report; assures for the completion and submission within established time limits.
  • Assists in preparation of compensation plan and other reports as otherwise directed.
  • Reviews and verifies monthly premium statements for group insurance programs and assists with benefits administration and issue resolution.
  • Maintains and compiles accurate HR and workforce reports on a weekly, monthly, and as-needed basis, providing information and analysis to facility leadership.
  • Carries out payroll responsibilities, including reviewing payroll information for accuracy, coordinating corrections, maintaining appropriate documentation, and supporting timely payroll processing.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned.
