About The Position

We're looking for a motivated, organized, and people-focused Human Resources Assistant to join our growing team in Graceville, FL. As the HR Assistant, you'll work closely with the Human Resources Manager to support employees throughout their employment journey—from recruitment and onboarding to payroll, training, and employee relations. Requirements

  • Previous HR experience or internship preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidate.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles, employment practices, and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, approachable, and able to build positive working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible, dependable, and eager to learn.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily Human Resources operations, including payroll, recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Process payroll and maintain employee records using ADP software.
  • Assist with recruiting by posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
  • Schedule employee training sessions and track participation.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files, benefits enrollment documents, and performance records.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Assist with implementing HR policies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Prepare HR reports, presentations, and other administrative documentation as needed.
  • Partner with supervisors, managers, and HR team members to address employee relations and HR initiatives.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiency.
  • Assist with training supervisors and managers on ADP software.
  • Handle confidential employee information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Participate in action planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
