About The Position

Responsible for providing assistance in any and all administrative duties, including, but not limited to performing credentialing functions such as maintaining and updating personnel files, posting job openings, preparing new hire paperwork on a timely basis and other related administrative tasks. This role involves assisting employees with routine inquiries, maintaining confidential employee files and HRIS database, communicating benefit information, preparing employee announcements, assisting with recruiting and onboarding, coordinating new hire orientations, assisting with benefits administration and leave tracking, verifying qualifications, coordinating training meetings, and assisting with special projects. The position requires upholding the organization's principles of providing quality health and human services to underserved populations in a culturally sensitive manner, and punctuality and attendance are essential.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in Human Resources required.
  • Minimum 65 w.p.m. typing ability required.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to plan and be organized.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high-paced environment, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with employees, business professionals, management and the outside agencies.
  • Experienced in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to exhibit mature judgement, tact, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Required to know, follow and enforce safe work practices, and be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while also being highly detail oriented.
  • Ability to organize and schedule work effectively.
  • Ability to articulate clearly in both oral and written communication.
  • Ability to maintain composure under conditions of urgency and/or time constraint, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle and maintain patient, provider, and company information confidentiality.

  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist employees directly with routine inquiries and basic Human Resources issues.
  • Create and maintain confidential employee files to ensure all required documents are in place.
  • Maintain HRIS database including but not limited to data entry and report generation.
  • Communicate all necessary information or correspondence to appropriate parties regarding employee and/or dependent benefit enrollments, status changes, or termination of benefits.
  • Preparation and distribution of employee announcements and other communications.
  • Responsible for assisting with CCCHC recruiting/on-boarding efforts.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations.
  • Assist with benefits administration as needed.
  • Assist with sick and vacation leave tracking.
  • Assist in verifying that qualifications are met for position and conducting audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Coordinate various training meetings.
  • Assist with special projects/audits as they are assigned.
  • Consistently demonstrate and uphold CCCHC’s principle of providing quality health and human services to the medically underserved and low-income populations in a culturally sensitive manner.
  • Punctuality and Attendance: This is an essential job duty for CCCHC’s employees given the impact on patients.
