About The Position

The Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Administrative training required
  • Two years of administrative assistant or HR experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties, such as filing, data entry and maintaining employee database
  • Support payroll processing, timekeeping efforts, maintain proper records of employee attendance and related documentation
  • Assist in policy formulation, rollout and ongoing administration
  • Help with job postings, coordinating recruiting activities, scheduling interviews, shortlist candidates, onboarding new employees
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Process required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, and other related employment matters
  • May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports
  • Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
