About The Position

The HR Analyst supports the People & Culture and Finance teams through workforce analytics, HR systems administration, payroll processing support, compliance reporting, audits, and employee data management. This role serves as a key partner in ensuring the accuracy of employee data, supporting payroll administration, producing workforce insights, and improving processes that enhance the employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in HR, payroll, HRIS, analytics, or related functions.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with payroll processing.
  • Experience with HRIS administration.
  • Power BI reporting experience.
  • Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, social services, or human services organizations.
  • HR, payroll, or related certification.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and analyze workforce reports and dashboards.
  • Track trends related to turnover, retention, vacancies, demographics, engagement, and other workforce metrics.
  • Support annual workforce analysis and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Create reports using HRIS, payroll, Excel, Acumatica and Power BI platforms.
  • Audit employee data and ensure data integrity across systems.
  • Serve as a primary HRIS support resource.
  • Maintain employee records and organizational data.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures and reporting guides.
  • Assist with biweekly payroll preparation and processing.
  • Audit payroll data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Review timekeeping records, deductions, leave balances, and employee changes.
  • Support payroll reconciliations and year-end payroll activities.
  • Assist employees and managers with payroll-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state wage and hour regulations.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare reports for leadership, grants, accreditation, and compliance needs.
  • Monitor HR and payroll data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with policy implementation and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
  • Create efficiencies through reporting, technology, and workflow improvements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and operational leaders to streamline administrative processes.
