About The Position

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th-year M.A. or M.S., with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources and the future of work through coursework, clubs, prior work, research, or independent projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • High adaptability and learning agility, with the ability to thrive in changing environments and adopt new working methods.
  • Data literacy, with an interest in using data and analytics for insights and decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Excel and the ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • Active user of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in studies or projects, with the ability to articulate their benefits, limitations, and output verification methods.

  • Experience presenting findings or recommendations to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own one end-to-end project tied to a business priority, such as analyzing attrition drivers, redesigning an onboarding journey step, or evaluating an HR technology workflow.
  • Utilize AI tools like LLM Suite and Copilot for research, drafting, and analysis, ensuring validation of outputs, identification of risks and limitations, and application of judgment.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and business stakeholders to design and deliver forward-looking people strategies.
  • Develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a digital-first mindset when addressing real business challenges.
  • Present project deliverables and recommendations to senior stakeholders at the program's conclusion.
  • Build relationships with peers across various summer class locations (Columbus, Plano, Newark/Wilmington, and New York Metro).
  • Participate in structured training sessions and mentorship programs to accelerate professional development.
  • Ask clarifying questions, drive towards understanding, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment, even with incomplete initial information.
