About The Position

The Human Resources Analyst Development Program at JPMorgan Chase offers a 9-week Summer Analyst opportunity focused on transforming HR operations. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th-year M.A. or M.S., with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources and the future of work (through coursework, clubs, prior work, research, or independent projects).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze challenges and develop practical solutions.
  • Strong adaptability and learning agility, with the ability to thrive in changing environments and adopt new working methods.
  • Data literacy, with an interest in using data and analytics for insights and decision-making.
  • Comfort with Excel and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Active user of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in studies or projects, with the ability to explain their strengths, weaknesses, and verification methods.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no employment-based immigration sponsorship offered).

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Prior internship or work experience in Human Resources, people analytics, or organizational development.
  • Familiarity with HR technology platforms or workforce data tools.
  • Experience presenting findings or recommendations to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own one end-to-end project tied to a business priority, such as analyzing attrition drivers, redesigning an onboarding journey, or evaluating an HR technology workflow.
  • Utilize AI tools (LLM Suite, Copilot) to enhance research, drafting, and analysis, while validating outputs, identifying risks, and applying judgment.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and business stakeholders to design and deliver forward-looking people strategies.
  • Develop capabilities in critical thinking, problem-solving, and applying a digital-first mindset to business challenges.
  • Present project deliverables and recommendations to senior stakeholders at the program's conclusion.
  • Build relationships with peers across different summer class locations.
  • Participate in structured training sessions and mentorship programming.
  • Demonstrate initiative and drive for clarity in a fast-paced environment, even with incomplete information.
