The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking one (1) dynamic and experienced Human Resources Advisor to support the HR and labour relations functions. This dynamic, fast paced role involves supporting business areas with their HR and labour relations needs as well as providing expertise in developing and supporting strategic programs across various facets of human resources. Reporting to the Manager, Labour Relations and Staffing, the Human Resources Advisor provides consultative expertise and service to foster and promote a positive employee experience within the EPS. Utilizing an interest-based, problem-solving approach the Advisor will work with a team of HR Advisors and other HR professionals; supervisors and leaders from within the EPS; sworn and civilian members and our five (5) unions/associations to identify and resolve workplace issues, concerns and disputes.
