Under limited direction, provides management and employee groups advanced journey-level professional human resources (HR) support on a broad range of HR issues and decisions, primarily in matters that require independent discretion. Responsible for the implementation of services and programs in one or more areas of HR. This position will support the Austin Public Health, Human Resources Unit by managing the full-cycle recruitment process while also assisting with talent acquisition process improvement initiatives. The HR Advisor Sr. will collaborate with senior leaders and management to provide guidance, best practices, and serve as a subject matter expert on a broad range of HR related topics.
