ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Keep track of absenteeism on a daily basis using the point system. Authorized to conduct background and reference checks. Assist with orientation for new hires. Screen all accident reports and maintain OSHA 200 Log. Process and file Workers' Compensation claims. Authorized to enroll hourly employees in all company benefits according to schedule. Maintain benefit records for all hourly benefits. Authorized to interface with employees to provide assistance in answering benefit questions and solving problems. Conduct all Human Resource functions in compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Authorized to maintain and organize all hourly personnel files in prescribed manner. Assist HR Manager in various clerical functions as directed. Performs other essential functions as required. Authorized to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to products, processes and quality systems.
