About The Position

The Human Resources Administrator at the Whitewater Center (Whitewater) provides hands-on support for the organization across core HR functions, including employee onboarding/offboarding, personnel management, and full-cycle recruitment for seasonal and part-time staff. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the employee lifecycle. As a front-facing member of the Human Resources team, the Administrator is responsible for facilitating positive and energizing interactions with Whitewater employees and prospective hires. This individual must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The HR Administrator is a full-time, on-site, benefits-eligible position that reports to the Human Resources Generalist.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or another related field.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or an administrative role.
  • Experience working in ADP Workforce Now or a similar HR information system.
  • Experience supporting high-volume or seasonal hiring

Responsibilities

  • Execute onboarding and offboarding processes, including personnel data entry, compliance tasks, system credentialing, background checks, and employment documentation
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR-related questions and coordinate with departments on policies and procedures
  • Maintain and update personnel records, requisitions, and staff changes in ADP Workforce Now and other systems
  • Facilitate Workers’ Compensation incidents between employees and insurance partners
  • Generate reports and provide administrative support to HR and other departments
  • Assist with process documentation, audits, and HR projects
  • Maintain office supplies and submit order requests as needed
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for seasonal and part-time employees, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring
  • Oversee applicant tracking and maintain accurate candidate status throughout the recruiting lifecycle
  • Manage interview scheduling and hiring calendars
  • Partner with department heads to ensure job postings are current and aligned with hiring needs
  • Meet staffing and hiring goals set by department leadership
  • Develop a strong understanding of all seasonal and part-time roles across the organization
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend recruiting events (on-site, off-site, and virtual)
  • Support the development and execution of job fairs and hiring initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
