About The Position

GameChange Energy is seeking a highly motivated and detailed Human Resources Administrator to support our busy Human Resources team. This individual will be directly involved in daily Human Resources operations, supporting talent acquisition, benefits administration, compensation, learning and development and employee relations. They will be responsible for onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records as well as updating organizational charts and internal databases. They will support HR team efficiency by serving as the first point of contact for employee questions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or in a similar role.
  • High school diploma required
  • Proficiency with HRIS software is required
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and auditing employment documents.
  • Strong ethical standards and a high degree of discretion when handling sensitive employee information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with staff at all levels.

Nice To Haves

  • a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires using the ADP Talent Acquisition module, including preparing offer letters, overseeing completion of new hire forms, coordinating background checks and drug screens, conducting I-9 verifications, benefits orientation, and assisting with recruitment efforts like posting jobs and scheduling interviews
  • Liaise between employees and payroll to track attendance, overtime, and leave, while assisting with benefits administration and inquiries.
  • Assist in the preparation of company policies and annual updates to the Employee Handbook to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal employment laws.
  • Maintain accurate digital employee records, including hiring, termination, leaves, and promotions, using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Update organizational charts and other internal databases.
  • Assist in generating reports on HR metrics, including turnover and retention rates.
  • Act as the primary contact for staff inquiries regarding benefits, HR policies, employee relations, and administrative tasks.
