About The Position

Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5pm. This is an onsite position with Human Resources experience required.   The hourly rate range is $30.00-$35.00 based upon relevant years of experience.   We offer a competitive package of employee benefits for 30 to 40-hour week positions. You will receive a defined contribution amount of up to $15,433.08 per year (prorated for part-time employees working less than 40 hours per week) to purchase the benefits of your choice on a cafeteria plan basis. Any amount of this defined contribution not used towards your benefits will be paid to you as taxable earnings. We offer a retirement plan with a generous employer match starting at 4% after one year of employment.  Our paid time off is also more generous than many employers with vacation time accruing up to 25 days per year, 6 days of sick time per year and 12 paid holidays. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or graduation from a recognized business school with a degree in business or related discipline and a minimum three years’ progressively responsible administrative support or office management experience.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in Human Resources or Personnel functions handling confidential, time-sensitive information and documents.
  • Proven typing speed of 40 net wpm
  • HRIS experience, preferably with UKG
  • Computer literacy; use MS Office applications (Word; Excel; Outlook) and Windows-based databases at an intermediate level
  • Familiarity using and maintaining a variety of common office equipment, such as fax machines, computer printers, photocopiers, and multi-line phone systems.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including appropriate English grammar, spelling and punctuation; legible handwriting or printing; proof and edit others’ and own work.
  • Demonstrated task management and execution skills and the ability to: 1. Multi-task in an interrupt-driven environment; maintain timelines and deadlines
  • Adapt to changing systems, methods, and environments
  • Employ principles, practices, methods, and technology of office management and personnel administration
  • Stay calm and reassuring in stressful situations and with agitated individuals in person and on the phone
  • Work with minimal supervision, organize for effective task completion, and demonstrate resourcefulness in completion of tasks
  • Recognize, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve problems; know when to escalate issues
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality of all sensitive documents, records, discussions and other information generated in connection with activities conducted in, or related to, employee information and make no disclosure of such information except to the Chief HR Officer in the conduct of business

  • Physical requirements needed to perform the essential functions of this job, with or without accommodation: 1. Hearing and talking on telephone and in person; standing, walking, sitting, pinching and finger flexion are required constantly (over 2/3 of the workday)
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, crouching, and kneeling are required occasionally (under 1/3 of the workday)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as HR Information System (HRIS) Administrator to manage human resource data processes and enable managers to benefit from HRIS modules and related tools.
  • Assist in administration of the Relias Learning training database in coordination with the Training Department, including enrollment and course completion records; provide support and respond to inquiries from users and instructors.
  • Support the HR talent acquisition and staff management functions.
  • Support the benefits and labor relations functions.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Review HR related vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness; coordinate submission to Finance to ensure timely payment.
