About The Position

Arden Park Post Acute is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Human Resources / Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist to join our leadership support team. This multi-functional role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact behind the scenes. The ideal candidate will assist with employee relations, onboarding, payroll processing, accounts payable functions, and administrative support to help ensure smooth daily operations throughout our facility.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Accounts Payable, or related administrative roles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility, healthcare, or post-acute setting
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS platforms
  • Accounts Payable and payroll processing experience
  • Familiarity with California labor laws and employment practices

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation processes
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and new hire paperwork
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations
  • Assist management with employee relations matters
  • Process and audit employee timecards
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions
  • Maintain payroll records and resolve payroll discrepancies
  • Assist employees with payroll-related questions
  • Monitor compliance with wage and hour regulations
  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices
  • Maintain accurate AP records and filing systems
  • Reconcile statements and assist with payment processing
  • Communicate with vendors regarding account inquiries
  • Support month-end closing activities and reporting
  • Answer employee and vendor inquiries professionally
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Assist department leaders with special projects as needed
  • Support daily office operations and facility administration
