The City of Oakland is currently recruiting for a Senior Human Resources Systems Analyst in Finance Department. As a Senior Human Resources / Payroll Systems Analyst, you will be an integral member of the Department of Finance Payroll Systems Team. You will be key in developing innovative processes and procedures, creating user documentation, and implementing systems solutions for payroll processes. We are looking for someone who is: Self-motivated and knowledgeable. You bring in-depth expertise in Oracle Human Resources and Payroll configuration and related applications. Proactive and resourceful. You take initiative and use available resources to research and resolve problems effectively. A strong relationship builder and communicator. You gather user requirements, translate them into technical system requirements, and serve as a first point of contact for users with escalated issues. A critical thinker and problem solver. You analyze complex technical and administrative information, evaluate alternative solutions, and recommend or implement appropriate courses of action. Organized and detail oriented. You manage a large volume of work with overlapping deadlines while maintaining accuracy and meeting established timelines. Collaborative and independent.
