About The Position

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics is seeking a Human Resource Specialist to manage the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle for our customer. In this role, you will provide comprehensive HR services with a focus on federal staffing regulations and expedited hiring authorities. Your primary duties include developing and posting job announcements via Delegated Examining Unit (DEU) and Merit Promotion (MP) channels, managing these actions through USA Staffing and USA Jobs, conducting job analysis reviews, performing applicant assessments, and adjudicating eligibility and qualifications. You will also apply Veterans’ Preference, ensure compliance with OPM regulations and merit-system principles, advise management on hiring flexibilities and special authorities to accelerate recruitment timelines, generate hiring certificates, process personnel actions, and track timelines for various recruitment phases. Additionally, you will utilize deep knowledge of DEU Certification to streamline the selection of qualified candidates for specialized law enforcement roles.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma (HSD) or equivalent with 5 years of experience or a bachelor's degree in a related field with 1 year experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with USA Staffing, USA Jobs, and OPM assessment tools.
  • Strong understanding of Delegated Examining (DE) procedures and Schedule B Hiring Authority.
  • Proven track record in conducting job analyses and eligibility adjudications.
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable advice to hiring managers regarding workforce flexibilities and special hiring authorities.
  • Federal government HR related experience required.
