Requirements

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive employee information
  • Proficient in software programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 2 - 4 years of progressive experience in Human resources or a business-related field

Responsibilities

  • Assist with new hire orientation for craft and non-craft personnel
  • Assists in developing and distributing materials for hiring craft employees
  • Responsible for the training of craft and staff employees
  • Performs background checks for new hires
  • Orders and maintains an inventory of new hire orientation/safety materials
  • Monitors and managers subcontractors to ensure they are in compliance with clients’ I-9 requirements
  • Administrative tasks including new hire personnel records filing
  • Ensuring compliance with customer contract terms and conditions
  • Responsible for I-9 documentation and other HR records
  • Travel to West Regional locations to conduct new hire orientation or participate in HR training
