About The Position

The HR Manager will lead the Talent agenda for our Denver location. In partnership with the leadership team, The HRM will develop and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy in support of the site’s business objectives. The HR Manager leads and directs all aspects of the site’s HR activities, including employee relations, team engagement, performance management, benefits, compensation, labor & regulatory compliance, recruiting, policy interpretation, and implementation of HR programs. Focused on excellence, the HR Manager will coach, mentor, guide and partner with the Denver HR team to provide comprehensive talent support to the business. As an integral member of the TTM HR team, the incumbent will also partner with other site HR Managers and COEs to optimize initiatives. This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Human Resources and operationally into the General Manager. The HR Generalist at the site will report directly into this role. This role is onsite based in Littleton, CO.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of HR best practices, US and CO employment laws and their implications in HR Management

  • 5-10 years’ experience supporting full spectrum of HR disciplines preferably in a high growth, high volume frontline employee or manufacturing environment
  • A track record of success as a collaborative and motivated leader who has supported Human Resources activities within a complex, matrixed organization
  • Experience partnering and operating within a Center of Excellence (COE) model, to include Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Shared Services, and Learning and Development and HRIS.
  • Experience with employee relations and investigations, with ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Leads by example and provides consistent coaching and mentorship
  • Experience partnering with, influencing, and successfully coaching and counseling at all levels
  • Experience working effectively in situations involving significant change and managing multiple priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Professional certification by either the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) or Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership in change management, organizational effectiveness, and talent management to the Denver location.
  • Lead initiatives in talent, staffing, performance and other priority focus areas
  • Implement HR programs at the site level, facilitate key meetings, and deliver communications
  • Develop strong working relationship with key business partners to provide coaching, guidance and consultation on full-cycle employment matters.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance leadership capability across the facility.
  • As a cultural steward, lead the change initiatives that underpin the company culture through active communications, observations, and follow up
  • Support the Site’s Talent Review process which includes coaching site leadership to build organizational capability.
  • Actively develop, evaluate and mobilize talent
  • Oversee site talent acquisition and recruiting activities, monitor site headcount levels & staffing plan and partner with Corporate Talent Acquisition team to determine effective recruitment strategies to help with long term workforce planning and resource management, prioritize staffing needs, and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Assess training & development needs of cross-functional departments and coach and mentor managers and employees on various HR related initiatives and develop proactive employee relations strategies
  • In partnership with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), strengthen and standardize company HR policies, processes and activities to ensure compliance with legislative regulations, market best practices and TTM requirements.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with business partners to drive business solutions and track progress
  • Collaborate with leaders to interpret employee engagement survey data to craft plans for high levels of employee engagement.
  • Work within HR team(s) to partner on special projects related to wellness, technology, policy enhancements, benefit offerings etc.
  • Liaise with internal legal counsel as required for any issues where such support is required to mitigate risk to the company
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate state and federal employment legislation
  • Enthusiastically take on additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the Company from time to time.
