Human Resources Manager Location: Downers Grove, IL Starting Salary: $60,000-$65,000/year Securitas is a global company that offers the most advanced and sustainable security solutions in the industry. As an HR Manager, you function as a strategic HR business partner to Operations by providing guidance, insights, and talent solutions that advance departmental and company objectives. This role will ensure compliance with company policies, federal and local state laws. What Your Day Will Look Like Oversee daily HR operations, including employee relations and compliance. Help manage the HR team overseeing recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes. Provide guidance and support to managers on HR policies and procedures. Handle employee performance issues and disciplinary actions. Maintain HR records and ensure accuracy in HRIS systems. Coordinate benefits and leave administration, as well as Work Compensation Claims. To ensure success in this role, the ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent active listening and communication skills, good personal presentation, politeness and tact, and be able to function in a high-pressure environment. This is a management level hands on generalist role.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year HR experience, HR generalist experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED, HR related degrees or certifications a plus!
  • Experience in recruitment and onboarding procedures needed.
  • Strong planning, organizing, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional manner in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Highly ethical with unquestioned integrity.
  • Conscientious and demonstrated initiative.
  • Acts to ensure compliance with Federal and State laws.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas' pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
