About The Position

Human Resources Manager (Bilingual – Spanish/English) Location: Southwest Minnesota (Hybrid | Based near Edgerton, MN) About the Company Solid Rock Recruiting’s client is a growing, family-owned construction company with 25+ years of success across the Midwest. The Opportunity This is a high-impact, hands-on HR leadership role with the opportunity to build and shape the HR function from the ground up. The company is seeking a bilingual HR Manager to lead full-cycle HR (excluding payroll processing), modernize systems, and improve the overall employee experience. You’ll play a key role in transitioning from manual processes to more scalable, structured systems while supporting a growing workforce. This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond transactional HR and take ownership of building processes, implementing systems, and contributing to long-term growth.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, agriculture, or similar field-based environments preferred
  • Proven experience implementing HR systems or digitizing processes
  • Strong recruiting and onboarding background
  • Ability to operate independently and build structure from scratch
  • Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with strong business acumen
  • Leadership potential with the ability to grow a team over time

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, agriculture, or similar field-based environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle HR operations (excluding payroll processing)
  • Transition HR processes from paper-based to digital systems
  • Optimize and expand HRIS capabilities (Trimble Spectrum in place)
  • Develop structured onboarding programs
  • Update and maintain employee handbook
  • Enable employees to manage documentation and tax withholdings digitally
  • Own recruiting strategy across field and professional roles
  • Support college recruiting and career outreach initiatives
  • Manage full onboarding lifecycle, including 90-day integration
  • Align hiring efforts with company growth goals and EOS framework
  • Serve as a trusted bilingual resource for employees and leadership
  • Improve communication between field teams and leadership
  • Support organizational development and workforce planning
  • Provide practical, business-focused HR guidance
  • Help prepare the organization for continued growth and potential acquisitions
  • Build scalable HR processes and infrastructure
  • Lay the foundation for future HR team expansion
