Under the guidance of the Associate Vice President of Human Resources and applicable governance policies of the Commonwealth of Virginia and Board of Supervisors of Virginia State University, the Office of Human Resources works to lead and ensure competitive and fair compensation pay practices for the University, to attract, develop, and retain top talent at Virginia State University. This position will provide human resources assistance to a designated college or academic department/business unit. HR Liaisons will build partnerships with units to create value-added HR services, which address the unique operational needs, mission, and direction of their units. This position is considered the first point of contact to provide resources for all employees in the units they represent. Overall oversight is provided to the HR Liaisons by the Central Office of Human Resources.
