About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist with 3 to 5 years of progressive HR experience to support day-to-day human resources operations and employee engagement initiatives. This role requires a strong background in employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is professional, approachable, detail-oriented, and confident handling sensitive employee matters while supporting managers and employees across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years progressive HR experience
  • Strong background in employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR administration
  • Professional, approachable, detail-oriented, and confident handling sensitive employee matters
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years progressive HR experience in a Generalist role
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with HRIS systems, reporting, and HR metrics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems, Paycom preferred, or similar system
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience handling confidential information with discretion

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP,)
  • Experience in construction, service, or multi-location environments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate HR programs and initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on complex HR issues, policies, and compliance matters.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend resolutions or corrective actions.
  • Maintain HR records, prepare month-end and ad hoc reports, and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Advise management on workforce planning, organizational development, and HR best practices.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Managing employee relations issues
  • Conducting new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Assisting with policy administration and interpretation
  • Supporting performance management processes
  • Ensuring accurate employee records and HR documentation
