Human Capital Systems Manager

1 Harris St Paul•Saint Paul, MN

About The Position

The Human Capital Systems Manager leads the day-to-day operation and support of Workday and supporting Human Capital systems. The role maintains system stability, data quality, and consistent execution of employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding. It combines hands-on system support, operational coordination, and people leadership, while partnering with Human Capital, Payroll, Technology, vendors, and other Operations colleagues. The manager leads a team of four direct reports, setting priorities and responsibilities, developing capabilities, supporting cross-training, and balancing workloads. The position also contributes operational insight to system improvements by providing requirements, supporting testing and rollout, and helping ensure updated processes can be maintained by the team. It is not solely responsible for system optimization, automation, or long-term systems strategy; system changes are handled collaboratively with consideration for employees, People Leaders, Payroll, and downstream business impacts.
