About The Position

Banesco USA is seeking a Human Capital Specialist for our Human Capital business unit.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or psychology (completed or actively in-progress); or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in HR-related functions, specifically in exposure to talent acquisition, job descriptions, and general administrative support.
  • Proficient Microsoft suite products is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change; comfortable with ambiguity when dealing with new tasks and process updates.
  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in daily tasks ensuring assignments are completed accurately and on time.

Nice To Haves

  • experience with ADP or similar HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital communication or design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment including job analysis, posting roles, sourcing, and screening resumes.
  • Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct initial screenings and serve as the primary, professional point of contact for candidates.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring a welcoming and structured introduction to the Bank.
  • Deliver excellent onboarding experiences by working closely with new hires from offer acceptance through their first week.
  • Oversee the timely completion of the New Hire Checklist and collection of compliance documentation.
  • Manage internal employee inquiries in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain digital employee personnel files and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Responsible for completing assigned annual training programs.
  • Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
