About The Position

United Way for Greater Austin Human Capital Coordinator Department: Human Capital Exempt, Full-time, Exempt Pay Grade 12 Who we are: United Way for Greater Austin brings our community together to break economic barriers and build opportunity for all. Who we want: The Human Capital Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Human Capital team on various Human Resources-related processes. These processes are key to the success of HR operations such as payroll, onboarding, compliance, employment verification, benefits billing, and more.

Requirements

Passion for our Austin community and desire to make a real impact.
Preferably 3 years of experience in Human Resources
Kindness and a growth mindset
Ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively
Organization, attention to detail, and flexibility, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
Experience using Microsoft Office and Google App
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Ability to maintain confidential information.
Experience with Paycom preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain the organization's HR email account and respond to inquiries.
Schedule meetings and take minutes during departmental meetings.
Assist with the Human Capital onboarding process.
Participate in payroll preparation by reviewing timecards, personnel updates, and expenses and communicating with staff to resolve outstanding items.
Review benefit invoices and communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.
Respond to verification of employment requests.
Update the intranet Human Capital page as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
