About The Position

AutoZone is hiring a part-time Hub Driver to support commercial customers and store operations. The driver transports automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores using company-provided vehicles; no CDL is required. The role also includes delivery documentation, vehicle safety checks and cleanliness, handling returns and restocking merchandise, supporting store merchandising standards, and assisting DIY customers in-store between deliveries with product location, product knowledge, and installation services. Drivers are expected to provide professional customer service, communicate effectively, follow delivery processes and fleet safety requirements, and help maintain smooth teamwork and operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with AutoZone driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Part-time availability.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service and communicate clearly during deliveries.
• Build strong relationships with customers through effective communication.
• Collaborate with store managers, teammates, and commercial customers to support smooth operations.
• Follow structured delivery processes and fleet safety guidelines to complete accurate, on-time routes.
• Drive company vehicles to transport automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores.
• Maintain proper documentation for each delivery.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and fleet PPE guidelines to ensure safe transportation.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, keep vehicles clean, and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Support store merchandising standards as needed.
• Pick up returns, process merchandise, and efficiently and accurately restock items from route deliveries.
• Assist DIY customers in-store between deliveries by helping them locate merchandise, providing product knowledge, and offering installation services.
• Stay informed about current automotive promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
