About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, maintain inventory, assist customers with product selection, and support store operations. As a Hub Driver, you will make deliveries to commercial customers and AutoZone stores using company-provided vehicles. You will follow structured delivery processes and fleet safety requirements, provide professional customer service, and support store operations between deliveries. No CDL is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Must be able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Must be available for a flexible full-time schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service during deliveries and build customer relationships through clear communication.
• Collaborate with store managers, teammates, and commercial customers to support smooth operations.
• Follow delivery processes and fleet safety guidelines to ensure accurate, on-time routes.
• Drive company vehicles to transport automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores.
• Maintain proper documentation for each delivery.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and fleet PPE guidelines to support accident-free transportation.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, keep vehicles clean, and promptly report maintenance issues.
• Support store merchandising standards as needed.
• Pick up returns, process merchandise, and restock items from route deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Assist DIY customers in-store between deliveries by locating merchandise, providing product knowledge, and offering installation services.
• Stay informed about current automotive promotions through AutoZone systems.
