About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. As a Hub Driver, you will drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time to commercial customers and AutoZone stores. You will support store operations, build customer relationships, follow delivery processes and fleet safety guidelines, and assist DIY customers in-store between deliveries. No CDL is required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service during deliveries and communicate effectively with customers.
• Build strong customer relationships and collaborate with store managers, teammates, and commercial customers.
• Follow delivery processes to ensure accurate, on-time routes and comply with fleet safety guidelines.
• Drive company vehicles to transport automotive parts to commercial customers and AutoZone stores.
• Maintain proper documentation for each delivery.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and fleet PPE guidelines to support safe, accident-free transportation.
• Complete daily vehicle checklists, keep vehicles clean, and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Support store merchandising standards as needed.
• Pick up returns, process merchandise, and accurately restock items from route deliveries.
• Assist DIY customers between deliveries by helping locate merchandise, sharing product knowledge, and offering installation services.
• Stay informed about current automotive promotions through AutoZone systems.
