About The Position

This position is responsible and accountable for reinforcing a strong safety culture across all operations while ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and Company standards. The role serves as a critical resource to field leadership by providing direction, oversight, and enforcement of safe work practices, incident response, and training compliance. This individual is responsible for maintaining accurate and complete training records across multiple systems, ensuring all required data is entered, updated, and audit-ready at all times. The position requires a high level of availability and sense of urgency, including mandatory responsiveness to incidents at any time, days, nights, weekends, and holidays, to support investigations and ensure timely, thorough resolution. This role works cross-functionally with HSEQ, Operations, and Human Resources to drive measurable improvements in safety performance, accountability, and compliance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HSEQ, safety coordination, or field safety support role within industrial, energy, or oil & gas operations.
  • Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific standards).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  • Proven ability to manage and maintain training and compliance records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with safety and compliance management systems such as KPA, Motive, ISN, Veriforce, TPS, NCMS, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to generate, analyze, and communicate safety and compliance reports clearly to leadership and field personnel.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to train, coach, and hold employees accountable in both field and office settings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly and decisively in incident response situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to manage data and reporting requirements.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet Company driving requirements.
  • Willingness and ability to respond to incidents and operational needs outside of normal business hours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and actively promote, enforce, and hold employees accountable to safe work practices, ensuring alignment with Company expectations and standards.
  • Conduct HSEQ field audits and provide direct coaching to employees on JSAs, driving practices, hazard identification, and risk mitigation, correcting unsafe behaviors in real time.
  • Ensure all field employees understand and comply with all regulatory requirements and Company safety standards during site visits, audits, and daily operations.
  • Provide direction and support to supervisory leadership and customer representatives to maintain a safe work environment while ensuring quality and operational expectations are met.
  • Perform routine and regulatory-required site and facility inspections, ensuring deficiencies are identified, documented, and corrected.
  • Partner with HSEQ, Human Resources, and Operations to deliver and support weekly new hire orientation, ensuring all required safety topics are covered.
  • Maintain, track, and enforce compliance of all employee training records, ensuring certifications and required refreshers are completed prior to expiration without exception.
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute required training, safety, and compliance reports to support operational leadership, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Enter, manage, and maintain all required training and compliance data and documentation across systems including KPA and Motive ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness at all times, including timely uploading and maintenance of all required records within external platforms as needed.
  • Educate and hold employees accountable to Company safety policies and procedures, addressing non-compliance promptly.
  • Lead and support incident response efforts, including investigations, root cause analysis, and preparation of detailed and accurate incident reports.
  • Maintain on-call responsibility and respond to incidents at all hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring immediate support, investigation, and documentation.
  • Support the facilitation of monthly HSEQ safety meetings, including developing required topics, creating and presenting content, coordinating materials, and managing logistics such as food ordering and setup.
  • Order, track, and manage inventory of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensuring adequate supply, proper allocation, and compliance with Company standards at all times.
