Keller is looking for an HSEQ Coordinator based out of our Dallas–Fort Worth, TX office to support the local Region.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience preferred
  • Resides in the DFW area preferred
  • OSHA 30 Hour required; OSHA 500 preferred
  • CHST, CSHO, ASP, CSP or equivalent preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Strong understanding of OSHA construction regulations (29 CFR 1926)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage with field personnel and lead group discussions
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in dynamic environments
  • Proficient with computers and safety reporting systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Regional travel required. This position can require heavy travel across Texas and surrounding states (AR, OK, NE, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with directing safety and environmental hazard activities for the region
  • Assisting Branch Manager with ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations (29 CFR 1926)
  • Conducting routine HSE site verifications, jobsite audits, and safety observations as directed by the Business Unit Safety Manager
  • Reporting inspection results to the Business Unit Safety Manager
  • Assisting with acquiring resources for corrective action when needed
  • Conducting and following up with safety inspections to ensure closure of items identified as unsafe, defective or non-compliant
  • Facilitating training for employees on a variety of safety and environmental topics, including new hire orientations and ongoing education
  • Participating in and helping lead project safety meetings and leadership safety interactions
  • Assisting in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and enforcement of Company Safety Policies and Procedures
