HSE Specialist (f/m/d)
About The Position
The HSE Specialist will ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental regulations. This role supports and improves HSE programs, policies, and ISO 45001 management systems. The specialist will lead and coordinate safety training, audits, inspections, and corrective actions, investigate incidents, and implement preventive solutions. Responsibilities also include monitoring environmental compliance, maintaining a strong presence on the production floor to identify hazards and promote safe work practices, tracking HSE performance metrics, and collaborating with various departments to strengthen workplace safety.
Requirements
- 3+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing, food, chemical, or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental regulations.
- Experience with audits, incident investigations, safety training, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related technical field preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
