About The Position

Responsible for evaluating, analyzing, designing, developing and maintaining the company Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Identifies new software products and/or service developments to fulfill the needs of HR. Makes alterations to existing programs to gather and report data as necessary. Major responsibilities typically require creativity while operating within established procedures and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 5 - 7 Years of Experience
  • 3-5 years HRIS administration and HR generalist/specialist experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Critical evaluation and consultation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, as a member of a team, and independently with little supervision.
  • Project management skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Skill in analyzing and organizing data.
  • Experience with report writing and analysis of HR reports.
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to devise solutions to administrative problems and apply established business rules and requirements.
  • Ability to implement new systems and procedures and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR information systems, specifically Ceridian, SQL (Structured Query Language).
  • Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Design, review, test, and implement HRM system (Dayforce) upgrades and/or patches.
  • Collaborate with end users and vendors (data partners) to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Maintain HRM system server, data base, tables, etc.
  • Document process and results.
  • Provide support for HRM system, including researching and resolving HRM system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Serve as the key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll).
  • May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative.
  • Develop standard reports for ongoing customer needs and write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
  • Train clients on new processes/functionality.
  • Train new system users (HR, clients, team members, etc.)
  • First point of contact for end user requests, trouble shooting, etc.; act independently to manage/resolve all HRIS systems issues/needs; keep leadership informed in line with established policies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
