About The Position

As an HRIS & Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for the configuration, administration, and continuous optimization of the organization’s Human Capital Management (HCM) system, primarily Dayforce. This role ensures the integrity, efficiency, and scalability of HR systems while supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. Acting as the primary functional liaison between Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and IT, you will oversee system configuration, troubleshoot HRIS-related issues, and support system enhancements and integrations. You will also lead the deployment and ongoing administration of key Dayforce modules, including Engagement and Learning, while producing meaningful analytics, dashboards, and reports to support HR and business leadership. The HRIS & Analytics Specialist will perform all other related tasks requested by their immediate supervisor and works in close collaboration with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience administering an HCM/HRIS platform (Dayforce strongly preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, workflows, and reporting within Dayforce.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with dashboards and analytics tools is an asset.
  • Ability to work effectively with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
  • Perfectly bilingual (ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the functional owner of Dayforce, overseeing configuration, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing optimization across modules.
  • Configure and maintain employee data structures, workflows, business rules, security roles, and access permissions within Dayforce.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between HR and IT, ensuring system efficiency, data integrity, and successful integrations.
  • Provide functional support and troubleshooting for Dayforce-related issues, including employee records, workflows, reporting, and user access.
  • Coordinate system updates, releases, testing (UAT), and configuration changes in alignment with Dayforce release cycles.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across HR, Payroll, and Finance data sets.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, job aids, and standard operating procedures.
  • Train HR team members and end-users on Dayforce functionality, best practices, and newly deployed features.
  • Support HR Team with employee data within HRIS systems (Dayforce and SAP), including hires, job changes, leaves, terminations, and rehires.
  • Launch, configure, and administer the Dayforce Learning module, including course setup, learning assignments, tracking, and completion reporting.
  • Support managers and HR partners with Learning-related reporting and adoption.
  • Manage HR benchmarking exercises and maintain clean, accurate compensation and job data within Dayforce. (Job Architecture)
  • Perform ongoing system housekeeping to ensure data quality and alignment with organizational structures.
  • Develop and deliver standard and ad-hoc Dayforce reports, including headcount, turnover, absenteeism and workforce analytics.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track key HR metrics and KPIs for HR leadership and management teams.
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into actionable insights.
  • Ensure consistency and reliability of HR data used for internal reporting and decision-making.
