About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to lead the administration and optimization of our Dayforce HRIS platform. This role will drive HR technology initiatives, support the implementation of new Dayforce modules, develop workforce analytics and dashboards, and identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and technology. The successful candidate will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders to ensure data integrity, deliver meaningful workforce insights, and enhance the employee experience through effective HR systems and reporting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting HRIS platforms.
  • Experience with Dayforce strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting HR technology implementations and upgrades.
  • Experience developing dashboards and workforce analytics.
  • Experience working with external consultants and software vendors.
  • Advanced Dayforce knowledge preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Query, and dashboard development.
  • Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of HR processes including payroll, benefits, talent management, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Understanding of data governance and data management best practice.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Dayforce and associated HR technologies.
  • Maintain organizational structures, position management, security roles, workflows, and employee data.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support to employees, managers, and HR team members.
  • Ensure system configuration aligns with business requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and release management activities.
  • Support the implementation of future Dayforce modules, including but not limited to: Performance Management, Learning Management, Compensation Management, Benefits, Recruitment & Onboarding.
  • Partner with external consultants and vendors to design, configure, test, and deploy system enhancements.
  • Develop project plans, implementation schedules, user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts, and deployment documentation.
  • Lead system testing, issue resolution, and implementation readiness activities.
  • Assist with change management, training, communication, and adoption strategies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain HR dashboards, scorecards, and workforce analytics tools.
  • Deliver accurate and timely workforce reporting for leadership and management teams.
  • Analyze and provide insights on: Headcount, Turnover, Absenteeism, Overtime, Recruitment metrics, Engagement survey data, Training and development metrics, Diversity and workforce demographics, Labour cost and workforce planning metrics.
  • Create executive dashboards that support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify trends and make recommendations to improve workforce effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through automation and technology.
  • Evaluate and recommend new HR technologies and system enhancements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving efficiency, user experience, and data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT and functional departments on integrations and technology projects.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, consistency, and security across all HR systems.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Develop data governance standards and reporting controls.
  • Support compliance with employment legislation, privacy requirements, and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Act as the primary HR liaison with Dayforce consultants, system vendors, and technology partners.
  • Coordinate implementation activities, issue resolution, and ongoing support.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure project deliverables are achieved.
  • Assist with contract reviews, statements of work, and technology assessments.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and knowledge resources.
  • Deliver system training sessions to HR, leaders, payroll, and employees.
  • Promote system adoption and continuous learning across the organization.
  • Support change management initiatives related to HR technology implementations.
