About The Position

Graphic Packaging International is a leading manufacturer of paperboard and paper-based packaging for various global brands. They are seeking HR Business Partners to provide HR consulting to the business, focusing on areas such as HR consulting and coaching, enabling business change, HR program advocacy, and partnering on key talent initiatives. This role involves applying theoretical knowledge gained through education and on-the-job training, with progression based on increased expertise and scope. Individuals may mentor or coach less experienced co-workers. The role requires a functional knowledge focus and the ability to achieve results through individual work and team collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Leads hourly recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, new employee orientation, onboarding and off-boarding activities.
  • Oversees internal job bidding process including reviewing job posting and identifying bids to be posted.
  • Serves as primary point of contact for temporary agencies.
  • Provides support on employee relations matters including investigations, resolving conflict, and communications in regards to employee questions, issues, or concerns.
  • Supports culture and engagement initiatives that support morale, recognition, communication, and inclusion.
  • Serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with operational goals.
  • Partners with the HR Manager on compensation planning, compliance training, employee relations and engagement, audit compliance, and reporting.
  • Follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures, related to production of Safe Quality Foods.
  • Report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures.
  • Participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required.
  • Follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF).
  • Report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation
