About The Position

Kinsley Construction is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team in York, PA. This role is responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and attracting qualified candidates for a variety of positions such as construction craft trades, technical roles, and professional positions. The specialist will partner with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs, conduct interviews, manage candidate records, oversee job postings, and ensure a positive candidate experience, all while supporting the Human Resources team's objectives. Key attributes for success include excellent organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to learn. This position is designated as safety sensitive according to Kinsley Construction policies.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Previous recruiting, hiring, or related Human Resources experience is required.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably BambooHR, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented skills are required.
  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships with hiring managers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment while maintaining confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to employment inquiries via phone, email and in-person.
  • Assist with the career inbox and ensure timely communication with applicants.
  • Source and attract qualified candidates through a variety of recruiting methods.
  • Assist with full-cycle recruiting for positions across the organization.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interviews as needed.
  • Participate in interviews to support Operations and shared services departments.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Post and manage job openings in BambooHR.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and recruitment initiatives.
  • Coordinate and attend recruiting events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
  • Guide applicants through the hiring process while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with pre-employment activities, including background checks, drug testing, and onboarding coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with trade schools, technical schools, colleges, workforce development agencies, and community organizations to support recruiting efforts.
  • Perform other related duties to support hiring managers and the Human Resources team.
