About The Position

The Human Resources Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring HR services are delivered accurately, professionally, and in a timely manner. This role supports the organization's HR strategy by leading key HR initiatives, driving process improvements, and providing guidance across all areas of the employee lifecycle. The HR Supervisor provides leadership, coaching, and development for the HR team, typically supervising two direct reports, while partnering with the CFO to ensure departmental goals and organizational objectives are achieved.

  • Experience working with HRIS systems and payroll processes.
  • Knowledge of employment law, HR best practices and employee relations

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support HR team members in administering a full range of human resources functions for all company locations.
  • Ensure exceptional internal customer service by following up with managers and employees, identifying service gaps, and implementing improvements.
  • Evaluate HR processes and procedures to ensure efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement HR policies and programs that support company objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain effective communication within the HR team to promote collaboration, business continuity, and consistent service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of payroll processes and collaborate with payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee HRIS administration, ensuring data integrity, system optimization, and accurate employee records.
  • Monitor and support all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, HRIS, and data management.
  • Advise managers and employees on HR policies, employment practices, equal employment opportunity, harassment prevention, and other workplace matters.
  • Serve as a primary HR resource for employment, compensation, benefits, payroll, organizational development, employee relations, performance management, affirmative action, training, recruitment, and special HR projects.
  • Prepare reports, analyze HR metrics, and recommend solutions that support organizational effectiveness.
