About The Position

The Human Resources Supervisor assists with various functions in support of the companies’ hiring needs. Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including but not limited to staffing, recruitment, training, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
  • Human Resources or related field experience
  • At least two years related experience required

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones and direct inquires in a professional and client centric manner
  • Assist management staff in preparing confidential employment and employee relations documents, including but not limited to proposed disciplinary notices.
  • Assist with staffing, including but not limited to check-in and check-out procedures for events.
  • Works effectively and maintains good working relationships with co-workers and employees
  • Assist with events, projects and coordinates employee appreciation activities
  • Supports the process for selecting and onboarding new employees
  • Attend job fairs and career events
  • Assist with New Hire Orientation
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files
  • Monitors compliance with I-9 and Human Resources policies, practices and procedures
  • Maintains company bulletin boards to ensure compliance with federal, state and local posting requirements
  • Auditing of employee files as needed
  • Assists with processing terminations
  • Gatekeeper of keeping track of employees’ certifications are up to date and current all season.
  • Makes photocopies, scans documents and performs other clerical functions
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR Director and Vice President
  • Answers employee requests and questions with escalation as needed; directs employees to appropriate resources.
  • Prepares correspondence
  • Prepares new team member files
  • Processes mail
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters
  • Performs other duties as assigned
