About The Position

The HR Specialist will manage daily Human Resource functions including researching, developing, and implementing effective recruiting and staffing strategies. The role aims to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent while enforcing company policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment.
  • Proactive and independent with initiative-taking ability.
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices in hiring and recruitment.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

  • Proficiency with Paylocity is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all HR functions including onboarding, orientations, and benefits.
  • Assist the onsite recruiter with various recruitment functions.
  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department managers to draft detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies.
  • Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule interviews and oversee preparation of interview questions.
  • Attend and conduct interviews with managers and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager during the offer process, recommending salary ranges and other details.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory training and certifications.
  • Administer human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
